A ‘short’ list of Who is Who of that passed through, and were formed on the premises of CKC (The College), is given below (in no particular order). Although some are deceased, yet their footprints in the sands of time remain indelible.
- Cardinal Dominic Ekandem: The first Nigerian Cardinal and the first Catholic Bishop in West Africa.
- Cardinal Francis Arinze: Former Archbishop of Onitsha and the Prefect Emeritus of Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of Sacraments, Vatican City.
- Bishop Eneja: Bishop Emeritus of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu.
- Archbishop Valerian Okeke: The Catholic Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province.
- Rev. Ken Ifeneme: The Anglican Bishop of Ikwo, Abakaliki.
- Very Rev. Fr Nicholas Tagbo: The first indigenous Principal of CKC Onitsha. The Principal of Principals and the legendary Principal who moulded many of today’s Nigerian leaders and successful men.
- (Dr) Peter Odili: Former Governor of Rivers State.
- Peter Obi: Former Governor of Anambra State.
- Willie Obiano: Present Governor of Anambra State.
- Justice Chukwunweike Idigbe: Former Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
- Justice Anthony Aniagolu: Former Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
- Justice Ambrose Ezeolisa Allagoa: Former Chief Judge of Rivers State and former Traditional Ruler of Nembe Kingdom.
- Justice Chukwudifu Oputa: Former Juctice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and Head of the Human Rights Violations Investigation Commission – The Oputa Panel.
- Justice Augustine Nwanneamaka Maidoh: An erudite Lawyer, Barrister and Judge, Justice Maidoh held many reputable national and international positions in jurisprudence. In 1995, he was one of Nigeria’s representatives at the 17th Biennial Conference in the Law of the World, held in Canada. One of the outstanding cases he presided over, without precedence, was the trial of a sitting Judge: Hon Justice D O Ikomi vs The State, in which the plaintiff judge was being tried for murder.
- Justice Anthony Ikechukwu Iguh: Former Supreme Court Justice and Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission.
- Justice Peter Umeadi: Chief Judge of Anambra State
- Chief Chike Ofodile: Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice of Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Onowu Iyasele of Onitsha.
- Justice Chuba Ikpeazu: Former Judge of the High Court of Justice and former Chairman of the Nigerian Football Association.
- Chief Luke Ekwemnachukwu Okafor: Former Executive Director, First Bank of Nig. Plc and Former Managing Director United Bank for Africa (UBA) and the Omelora of Abba. Chief Okafor is a resounding banker and financial management expert.
- Dr Olisa Agbakoba (SAN): Renowned human Rights lawyer and former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
- James Ene Henshaw: Famous Playwright and former Director of Medical Services in former South Eastern State of Nigeria.
- Prof Chike Obi: The formest mathematical genius. The first Sub-Saharan African to hold a doctorate Degree in Mathematics, conferred by Cambridge University.
- Dr Pius Okigbo: Renowned Economist and the first Nigerian representative to the European Economic Community.
- Dr Philip Emeagwali: The renowned Computer Scientist. The first individual Scientist to have won the Gordon Bell award and voted 35th African Greatest Scientist in a 2004 survey by The New African Magazine.
- Alex Acholonu: Professor of Biology, included in the Top 20 medical and Nursing Professors in Mississippi, USA in 2013.
- Prof Cyril Enwonwu: A renowned Professor of Microbial pathogenesis and Oncology & Diagnostic Sciences at the University of Maryland, USA.
- Prof Pat Utomi: Professor of Political Economy Management expert and one of the founders of the Lagos Business School.
- Mike Ajegbo: Senator of the Federal Republic Nigeria (in the 4th National Assembly).
- Chief Joe Billy Ekwnife: A renowned banker and former National President of CKC Old Boys’ Associations. The first CEO of Anambra State Investment Promotion Agency (ANSIPA).
- Mr Dominic Ezeani (Hugo Harris): A renowned footballer; former Captain of Enugu Rangers International FC and member of Nigerian Super Eagles.
- Hon Oseloka Obaze: Former Secretary of Anambra State Government
- Prof Solo Chukwulobelu: The current Secretary of Anambra State Government.
- Mr John Munonye: A prominent Igbo writer and renowned Nigerian writer
- Obi (Prof) Joseph Chike Edozien: The Traditional ruler of Asaba; The Asagba of Asaba, Delta State. A Professor of Nutrition and Public Health.
- HRH Igwe Austin Ezenwa: The former traditional ruler of Abagana and former Deputy Governor aspirant of Anambra State.
- Barr Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu: A leading Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), with many successful landmark cases in his briefcase, notably Mr Peter Obi vs INEC in 2006.
- Mr Nnamdi Nwokocha: The Captain of the CKC football team that won the World Cup in Dublin in 1977.
